The department hosted a group of 68 SM2 scholars on 23 November 2017 as part of their one-year bridging course with the university. The objective of the visit was to orientate them to the fun of learning physics.

The senior middle school students from China were briefed about the physics curriculum, research opportunities and the various career options open to physics graduates. Lab visits were also arranged for the students. They also had a chance to engage in some hands-on activities after watching some live physics demonstrations.

The department wishes all the SM2 students a great learning experience as they continue their academic journey in the university.
