Astromony Education

Led 4 teams to build Educational Observatories and establish Astronomy programs in schools:

  • NJC (National Junior College) Roll-off-Roof Observatory (2012),
  • NUS (Physics Dept.) Roll-off-Roof Observatory (2011),
  • NUS (High School) 3m-Nisshin Dome Observatory (2005),
  • NYP (Nanyang Polytechnic) 3m-Nisshin Dome Observatory (2000, 2014 upgrade).

NUS Physics department Roll-off-Roof Observatory (2011): 17” Plain-Wave CDK (F6.8 Corrected Dall-Kirkham) Astrograph Telescope (Dual carbon-fiber truss design) equipped with a 4” Takahashi (Hydrogen Alpha Solarscope) on the latest computerized Showa 25E German Equatorial Mount.
