Current Research
- Novel topological phases of matter in nonequilibrium systems, such as periodically driven quantum systems and effectively non-hermitian systems;
- Nonlinear dynamics and quantum chaos in few-body and many-body systems;
- Quantum dynamics control and quantum simulation;
- Fundamental aspects in quantum thermodynamics, especially on fluctuation theorems and nanoscale heat engines.
A nonequilibrium semimetal phase, featured by a border between Floquet higher-order topological insulators (FHTI) and anomalous Floquet topological insulators (AFI) on its 2D slices.
