Physics Engagement Day 2019

Over 40 prospective students and their parents turned up for the Physics Engagement Day on 27 April. The third session to be held, Engagement Day is an initiative by the Faculty of Science to engage prospective students who have received admission offers to consider pursuing a science degree at NUS. 

Specialised Workshop in Physics

A total of 27 international high school students took part in the Specialised Workshop in Physics held at the department. This workshop was a three-day extension of the Science Summer Camp organised by the Asia Pacific Centre of Management Education (APCME). 

An Interview with Dr Wang Qinghai

Senior lecturer Dr Wang Qinghai, a recipient of multiple university teaching awards, shares his experience of learning physics in his undergraduate days and his thoughts about studying and teaching physics.

Germany Immersion Trip

A total of 17 undergraduates participated in Germany Immersion Trip 2019. It had been a most gratifying experience for the students as they spent three weeks immersing themselves in the academic culture and soaking in the historic and splendorous landscape.
