Abstract

The Physical Review journals of the American Physical Society (APS) have a long tradition of publishing original physics papers and serving as the bedrock of physics research. The APS has launched a few new journals to broaden this collection recently. Physical Review X is a highly selective open access journal among them. In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the Physical Review journals, talk about the peer review process from an editor’s perspective, and offer guidelines on communicating effectively with editors and referees. I will be available to answer questions, hear ideas, and take your feedback.
