Abstract
Since their first direct discovery in 2015, gravitational waves have contributed significantly to knowledge about astrophysics and fundamental physics. I will first introduce the Open Gravitational-wave Catalog (OGC) [1], an independent search result using open-source software and public LIGO and Virgo data. Then I will briefly overview the scientific implications of these results and additional search efforts for primordial black holes and electromagnetic counterparts.
